- Set it once. A digital thermostat holds the box at the temperature you choose and shows the current reading in red digits. The heater rests when the target is reached and restarts when the box cools.
- Warm air from above. The heater and fan sit in the ceiling behind a stainless steel mesh guard. Warmth circulates through the box, with no hot pad under the bedding and nothing the animals can touch.
- Check without opening. Clear doors and an interior light let you count noses at 3 a.m. without letting the warmth out. Medium and Large add a temperature and humidity meter.

For their first weeks, puppies and kittens depend on their mother and their surroundings for warmth. Kiba Nest gives a litter, an orphan or a bottle baby a clean, enclosed space held at the temperature you set.

A day with Kiba Nest
Switch on and set the temperature
Three switches run the heater, the fan and the light. Set your target on the thermostat and the red display shows what the box is at right now.
Warm air circulates from the ceiling
The heater and its fan sit above a stainless steel mesh guard. Air is warmed at the top and moved around the box by the ventilation fans, so there is no hot plate under the bedding.
Check on them through the doors
Clear doors and an interior light mean you can look in whenever you like without opening up and letting the warmth out.
Slide out, wipe, slide back
The floor tray or drawer pulls out from the front. The PVC panels are waterproof, so a damp cloth is all the box needs.

Raising a litter is messy. Every inside surface is smooth, sealed PVC, and the tray or drawer comes out from the front so you are not reaching past sleeping puppies.

What temperature should I set?
That depends on the species, age and health of the animals, so follow your vet’s guidance. The thermostat lets you set and change the target at any time, and the display shows the current temperature inside the box.
Which size do I need?
Sizes are outside measurements, width × depth × height: Small 37 × 27 × 35 cm (14.6 × 10.6 × 13.8 in), Medium 50 × 39 × 40 cm (19.7 × 15.4 × 15.7 in), Large 70 × 45 × 55 cm (27.6 × 17.7 × 21.7 in). Email info@kibaclub.com with the breed and expected litter size and we will suggest one.
Does the display read Celsius or Fahrenheit?
Celsius. The thermostat and the meter read in °C, in steps of 0.1 °C. To convert a reading, multiply by 1.8 and add 32: 30.0 °C on the display is 86 °F.
Does it work in the United States?
Yes. Every unit we ship to the United States comes with a US plug and runs on 110 to 120 V, the US mains voltage, so it plugs straight into a standard US wall socket. Outside the US, email info@kibaclub.com with your country before you order and we will confirm the plug and voltage of the unit we would ship to you.
Can it run through the night?
Yes, it is built to hold its temperature around the clock. The thermostat switches the heater off at your set temperature and back on as the box cools, the heater sits behind a steel guard, and a built-in circuit breaker protects the electrics. As with any heated enclosure, check the reading regularly and do not leave animals unattended for long periods.
Is bedding included?
No. The box arrives with its tray or drawer and nothing else inside. Use your own washable bedding, such as fleece or a puppy pad, and keep it clear of the ceiling guard and the ventilation openings.
Can the mother go in with the litter?
Kiba Nest is made as a nursery for the newborns themselves, for the hours they are away from their mother. If you want room for the mother as well, email info@kibaclub.com with her breed and we will tell you plainly whether a size would work.
Can I use it for other animals?
It is designed for newborn puppies and kittens. It holds an air temperature and does not control humidity, so for any other species check what they need with your vet first. For hand-reared baby birds we make Kiba Fledge.
Does it control humidity?
No. Medium and Large show temperature and humidity on a small meter so you can see both, but the box only controls temperature.
Is there an oxygen port?
No. Kiba Nest is a warming nursery box. It is not an oxygen cage or an intensive-care unit.
Is it a medical device?
No. It keeps healthy newborns warm and is not a substitute for veterinary care. Sick, premature or fading puppies and kittens need a vet.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are prepared within 1 to 3 business days and delivered by tracked courier, usually in 5 to 10 business days. Shipping is free and you get a tracking number by email. Kiba Nest travels in its own large carton. Customs and everything else are covered in the shipping policy.
What if it is not right for us?
Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we will arrange a return for a refund. If it arrives damaged or develops a fault in the first year, we repair, replace or refund. Full terms are in the refund policy.
