01A 3.9 mm camera with its own cold light sits in the tip of the probe and sends a wide 180° view to the screen.

02The 3.5 inch screen tilts through 120° and swivels all the way round, so you can read it from wherever you are kneeling.

Are they moving?

01The stage heats to the temperature you set, from 20 to 50 °C, on a red digital display, so the sample stays warm while you look. Set it to 38 °C, close to a dog’s body temperature.

02A 7 or 9 inch screen sits on the camera tube and shows the live view, so two of you can watch at once.

How we got here · 1 · Dogs and cats

It began at the whelping box.

Our first product was a warm-air nursery for newborn puppies and kittens. From there we worked back through the season, one job at a time: Season and Peak to time the mating, the Cup, Lens and Count to check the sample, the Scope to inseminate by sight, and the Echo to see the litter before it arrives.

We started with dogs. Then people asked for more.

Then the horse people wrote in.

An equine reproduction specialist told us the dog Scope is too short for a mare, but that the Lens and Count could work for stallions. So we added Scope Equine, a camera gun built for mares, the Warm heated cup, the Collect stallion kit and a horse view of the Lens.
