  • See how much you have. Fine amber-brown marks printed on the tube show the volume while you collect.
  • A wide funnel mouth. The flared glass mouth narrows into a slim tube with a rounded closed end, so everything runs down into the tube.
  • Straight into the syringe. The slim tube lets the tip of a syringe reach the bottom and draw it all up.
  • Glass you use again. Rinse it with clean warm water, let it dry and it is ready for the next time.

A glass collection cup for breeders who collect their own dogs. It is glass: handle it gently and keep it in its box between uses.

Collecting

See what you collected.

The free kit that comes with Kiba Scope uses soft single-use collection bags. Some breeders prefer glass: a clear cup you can rinse and use again, with a scale printed on the tube, so you see the volume at a glance before you draw it into the syringe.

How it is used

From warm cup to syringe

Two hands holding the empty Kiba Collection Cup to warm the glass, a French bulldog resting in the background
Before

Warm it in your hands

Hold the clean, dry cup in your hands for a minute or two so the glass is not cold when you collect.

Collect

Wide mouth up

Hold the cup with the wide mouth up and the tube pointing down, so everything runs into the tube.

A gloved hand holding up a 10 ml syringe with about 3 ml drawn up, the glass cup on the table behind
Draw up

Read it, then the syringe

Read the volume on the printed scale, then lower the tip of a syringe into the tube and draw it all up, ready for your Kiba Scope tube.

After

Rinse and dry

Rinse the cup straight away under clean warm water and stand it upside down on a clean towel to dry. Leave no soap or disinfectant on the glass.

Questions

Good to know before you order.

Something we haven’t covered? Email info@kibaclub.com and a person replies within 24 hours.

Which size do I need?
The number is how much the tube holds. 15 ml suits most small and medium dogs and 20 ml gives large breeds more room. If you breed several sizes, the set gives you one each of 10, 15 and 20 ml.
Is it for horses too?
No. The glass cup is for collecting dogs. For a stallion the kit is Kiba Collect, with Kiba Warm to keep its cup warm.
Is it glass?
Yes, clear glass with the scale printed on the tube in amber-brown. Handle it gently, and keep it in its box between uses.
How do I clean it?
Rinse it under clean warm water straight after use and stand it upside down on a clean towel to dry fully. Leave no soap or disinfectant on the glass before the next collection.
Is it the same as the free kit with Kiba Scope?
No. The free collection kit that comes with Kiba Scope is 12 sets of single-use collection bags, 10 ml syringes, sample tubes and 30 cm tubes. The glass cup is extra, for breeders who prefer a rigid cup they can see into and use again.
What if it breaks in the post?
It travels packed against knocks. If it arrives broken, email info@kibaclub.com a photo within a few days of delivery and we send a new one.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are prepared within 1 to 3 business days and delivered by tracked courier, usually in 5 to 10 business days. Shipping is free and you get a tracking number by email.
Can I return it?
Yes, unused and in its original packaging, within 30 days of delivery, for a refund. For hygiene reasons a used cup cannot come back. Full terms are in the refund policy.
