  • Sized for a buck or a ram. A short hard-plastic body with a latex liner folded over both rims, the size the maker builds for sheep and goats, so it fits the animal instead of a cattle sleeve cut down.
  • Pressure from a bulb. Warm water goes between the body and the liner through the side port, and the rubber squeeze bulb adds air until the pressure is right. Let a little out and it drops again.
  • Straight into a tube. A graduated collection tube fits the narrow end of the liner and is held with a rubber band, so the collection lands in a tube you can stopper, read and warm.
  • Spares in the box. Two tubes, two stoppers and two bands come with the kit, so a second collection on the same day does not wait for washing up.

Kiba Collect Goat is a breeding tool for experienced handlers. Collecting a buck or a ram is done with a teaser female or a trained male on a dummy, by people who have been shown how; if you have not done it before, have your vet or an AI technician show you first. Collecting a stallion instead? See Kiba Collect.

The collection

One clean collection, into a tube.

Fresh semen from your own buck or ram is the cheapest dose there is, and with the Scope you can place it the same morning. Kiba Collect Goat is the kit the maker builds for sheep and goats: body, liner, bulb and tubes, nothing to improvise.

How it is used

From the liner to the bench

Gloved hands threading the latex liner through the black body of Kiba Collect Goat and folding it over the rim
Before

Fit the liner

Thread the latex liner through the body and fold its ends back over both rims so it sits smooth inside, with no twist.

Fill

Warm water and pressure

Pour warm water into the side port between the body and the liner, fit the squeeze bulb and add air until the pressure is right. Lubricate the entrance.

Tube

Tube on the end

Push a graduated collection tube onto the narrow end of the liner and hold it with a rubber band. Keep the tube warm in your hand or a cup of warm water until the collection.

After

Stopper, to the bench

After the collection, take the tube off, stopper it, keep it warm and out of the light and carry it to the bench to look at under the Lens or to load into the Scope.

In the box

Nothing to buy separately.

Body, liner, bulb, two tubes, two stoppers and two bands. The liner rinses and dries for the next collection; the tubes wash in hot water.

Plastic, latex, rubber

Simple parts that clean.

Questions

Good to know before you order.

Something we haven’t covered? Email info@kibaclub.com and a person replies within 24 hours.

Who is it for?
Goat and sheep breeders who collect their own buck or ram for fresh AI or to check his semen. If you have not collected one before, have your vet or an AI technician show you first.
What is in the box?
One hard-plastic AV body, one latex inner liner, two graduated collection tubes, two rubber stoppers, two rubber bands and one rubber squeeze bulb with its tube.
What water temperature and pressure?
We do not give numbers for them: they are a matter of the animal and the handler, and the people who showed you will have theirs. If you want the maker’s notes, email info@kibaclub.com.
How big is it?
The body and liner are the size the maker builds for sheep and goats. We have not measured the kit ourselves yet; if you need the dimensions before you order, email info@kibaclub.com and we will ask the factory for you.
Can I keep the tube warm?
Yes. Hold the tube in your hand or stand it in a cup of warm water before and after the collection, and keep it out of the light.
Can I check the semen afterwards?
Yes. Kiba Lens is a microscope with a heated stage and a screen: a drop from the tube on a warm slide shows you whether the sperm are alive and moving, and Kiba Scope Goat places the dose with the cervix on the screen.
How do I clean it?
Rinse the latex liner in clean warm water, dry it and store it out of sunlight; empty, rinse and dry the body; wash the tubes and stoppers in hot water. Replace the liner when it loses its stretch.
Is there one for horses?
Yes. Kiba Collect is the stallion artificial vagina kit, with the page written for horse breeders.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are prepared within 1 to 3 business days and delivered by tracked courier, usually in 5 to 10 business days. Shipping is free and you get a tracking number by email.
What if it is not right for us?
Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we will arrange a return for a refund. If it arrives damaged or develops a fault in the first year, we repair, replace or refund. Full terms are in the refund policy.
